Lisa's Kayaking and Land Guide Eco-Adventures is your premiere source for water and land tours in Belize, both on the mainland and islands (cayes). Eco-tourism with a twist by an Environmental Scientist with a flair for fun and adventure!!

Raised in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and beginning her degree program studies in Animal Science at Texas A&M, Lisa Walker-Morley received her degree in Environmental Science from Pacific University  in Forest Grove, Oregon USA. An off-chance course in Tropical Biology resulted in her first of many trips to the small but spectaular country of Belize. She fell in love not just with Belize, but truly with the wonderful and beautiful people of this amazing country.

It was her third trip with the class (she didn't actually flunk, just kept finding ways to do additional research every year) when it became apparent that she wanted to live in Belize and link her knowledge and experience with that of the fantastic friendships formed over the years with local guides, and open her own Kayaking and Land guide adventures.

Over 60% of Belize is protected land, but like so many other beautiful places on Earth, there is increasing pressure to develop lands, effecting the delicate balance of nature in this excuisite setting. Lisa's work also includes using her 12 years of experience in negotiating and training at Intel Corporation (yes, the world's largest computer chip manufacturer) to work with local governments, companies and guides to find ways for people to both make a living and protect and preserve this jewel called Belize at the same time.

Come see the exciting successes and enjoy the beauty and adventure of Belize. You'll see, you can have the adventure of a lifetime and protect the planet at the same time!

Definition of Eco-tourism - nature-based tourism, which involves education and interpretation of the natural environment and is managed to be ecologically sustainable. Tourism is sustainable when its development and operation include participation of local population, protection of the total environment, fair economic return for the industry and its host community, as well as a mutual respect for and gratification of all involved parties.

Here are a couple of pictures with Lisa guiding a trip of visitors from four continents to see the Grand Canyon. Lisa is the tall one in the first photo, and she's taking the second picture, so is not visible in the very happy group photo taken on arrival to their destination.
